CERAMIC COAT

What is Ceramic Coat?

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect its paint job. The coating creates a hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and other contaminants, helping to keep the vehicle looking cleaner for longer periods of time. The Ceramic Coating acts as a barrier between the paint job and the elements, providing protection against UV rays, acid rain, bird droppings, and other environmental hazards.

#2 Paint Prep

This involves washing the car with a pH-neutral shampoo to remove dirt and grime. Clay barring can be employed to eliminate embedded contaminants, followed by a polishing step to correct minor imperfections and enhance the paint's gloss.

#3 Ceramic Coat

Once the paint is properly prepped, the Ceramic Coating can be applied. This is done by sectioning off the vehicle into manageable parts, such as panels or sections. The Ceramic Coating is typically applied using a soft microfiber applicator or an applicator pad.

#4 Curing and Buffing

Ceramic Coat needs time to bond with the paint. This is called the curing process. The vehicle should be kept in a controlled environment, away from direct sunlight or moisture, to allow the coating to cure properly.
