We recently had the pleasure of working on this 2018 Dodge Demon SRT to make her stand out even more. The Demon comes with a 6.2 liter V8 supercharged engine that cranks out 808hp. Dodge will reportedly only produce 3,000 Dodge Demon SRTs for the US market and 300 for Canada. Dodge has been toting the Demon as the first street-legal production drag car in the US, and National Hot Rod Association has certified it as the world’s fastest quarter mile production car.

But it has drawn its critics. Automotive News, the leading trade publication covering the auto industry, called for banning the Demon from the street in an editorial last April.
The car “is so inherently dangerous to the common safety of motorists that its registration as a road-worthy automobile should be banned,” it wrote, citing its “barely legal” tires and massive acceleration. During tests the Demon covered a quarter-mile in 9.65 seconds at 140 miles per hour, and it accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds.

The Demon SRT comes standard with just the driver’s seat, but the passenger and rear seats can be added-on for as little as $1 each.

We installed our Premium Paint Protection Package, which covers the front bumper, full hood (we installed the Satin Black vinyl over the clear bra), full fenders, headlights, and side mirrors. We also installed paint protection film on the A-pillars. Protecting the front end from rock chips, staining, etc. from when the owner is running the Demon on the track. Our film is self healing from any small scratches or swirl marks, and offers a hydrophobic property to help bead off dirt and water, making cleaning a breeze.

The customer wanted Demon head logos for the sides and hood of the vehicle. So we made some logos and cut them for the installation. With Demon heads for the side of the vehicle in Satin Black for added contrast. And one Demon head cut with a different material to lay under the Satin Black vinyl on the hood of the vehicle for a subtle “ghosted” appearance.

We also installed Satin Black vinyl on the roof and trunk lid. With custom white “Lucifer” script on the rear spoiler.
