We offer two levels of window tint at Ghost Shield Film, our Standard Window Tint and Ceramic Window Tint. With standard tint being more for aesthetics, and ceramic tint being more for those looking to block heat and UV rays even at lighter shades.

We recommend waiting 48-72 hours depending on the weather and if the car sits in the sun for long periods of time

That is from moisture that remains between the film and the glass. It can appear hazy, streaky, blotchy, or as small bubbles. It takes several days for the film to completely cure. The remaining moisture will evaporate through the film.

No, we do not offer mobile tint services. Tint needs to be applied in a clean, well lit location where the vehicle can be properly prepped to ensure the best installation possible.

  • Front side windows: The front side windows (driver’s and passenger’s side) must allow at least 70% of light to pass through
  • Front windshield: Tint can only be applied to the top four inches of the windshield
  • Rear side windows and rear windows: There are no restrictions on the darkness level of the rear side windows or the rear window
  • Drivers may be eligible for a medical exemption if they have a medical condition that requires reduced exposure to sunlight.

The tint is either very old or poor-quality tint. Purpling is damage from UV rays, and bubbles are the result of adhesive failure. Our tint comes with a lifetime warranty, do if the tint does fail due to environmental damage it can be replaced at no cost to our customer.

That will depend on the shade of tint you choose. A 5% shade (or limo tint) will make it more challenging to see out the windows at night. While a 70% shade means that 70% of light is let through the tint making it very light and will not affect visibility at night.
